Site Update 15 Feb 07

We started the kennel business back in the 1950’s raising beagles and english setters. We sold the puppies to hunters and field trail trainers.  Many of our customers that we sold dogs to asked us to board their animals while they where on vacation.

So we built a nice small building and started boarding these hunting dogs.  By word of mouth, our business grew and we soon ran out of space. In the 1970’s, we built a larger building and called the new facility Colvintown Kennels.

People from all over Rhode Island have used the Kennels to board their pets when they are away from home. The Kennels are heated via radiant heat in the floors during the colder months. During the warmer months, the kennels are well ventilated and air conditioned.
